Question

I am getting quite frustrated with the way the posts are set up, and wanted some help. I love this forum but I don't get responses to my posts??

The only way I know there has been a new post is when it is hi-lited in red. If I have read a topic already it marks it black showing I have viewed it. But there is no way of knowing if there has been a new post within a topic unless I actually go into each one to check for new posts. This is quite annoying!!

I also have posted new topics and have to go searching for it within the topic list to see if anyone has replied. There is that option in my info to view topics I am registered to?? But nothing comes up.

Can anyone help me on this, I would really appreciate it. Sorry for sounding grumpy but I really want to continue coming to these forums. Thanks.

Hi Duque,
Firstly, let me just preface my reply by letting you know that we're revamping the forum and its structure - I think you will very much like the newer format and how it helps you track your posts.

The best way, presently, to know if your post has been replied to is to watch for topics that move to the top of the forum list.

All forum topics get replies within the one topic - they are not threaded into multiple trees of replies in the current format.

You could go into the Search area and type in the name of your post. It will appear with the # of replies as well as the name of the last person to reply. If it's not the same person as last time you checked, you have a new response. Of course remembering the # of responses since you last checked would be helpful.
