when posting a thread? It is frustrating to think and type out your topic and then lose it when you go to post. It says you aren't logged on, which of course you were or you wouldn't have been able to post to start with. I was over 5 minutes but didn't think it was 10. Anyways, it would help to how the parameters. I know this happens to others too. Thanks.
The cookie expiration time was 15 minutes, I have increased it to 30 minutes to allow more time for posting.
If this happens again, try clearing your browser cache and cookies, closing the browser down (not your machine!) and revisiting the forums again, it could also be a symptom of a corrupted cookie or some other browser anomaly.
Other options you may want to try:
If you're typing a particularly long post, is either to type it out in a word processor or text editor and then copy and paste it into the forum once you're finished
OR
Before hitting the Submit Reply button, copy the text in the post box (CTRL+A to select all, CTRL+C to copy) and that will keep the text in the clipboard in case the post fails. If it does, you can just start another reply, add your subject and CTRL+V to paste the text back into the reply box.
If you experience any further problems, feel free to let us know.
Hope this helps!

I'll try the cookie clean up. I usually know better if I'm doing a new post and thinking about too many different things that I should write my post in Word first. I hadn't had this problem in awhile so thought it was fixed. Better safe than sorry. New post = newword.doc.
